Psychotherapy

What is psychotherapy?

A conversation with a therapeutic purpose

Psychotherapy involves communication that is intended to help individuals who experience difficult emotions, thoughts and behavior. It provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who is objective, neutral and non-judgemental. Scientifically validated procedures are applied to help people work through problems, supporting them to develop healthier, more effective habits so as to increase well-being and functioning1

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process where we would discuss the goals for treatment and planning of sessions. Psychotherapy can be short or long term, it depends on the depth and complexity of the issues. It is also open for individuals who desire to seek personal growth. Research shows that most people who receive psychotherapy experience symptom relief and are better able to function in their lives2.

Therapy session at Therapy Moments is priced at $120/hr, with a complimentary first initial session.
